On April 22, 2015, Deputy Consul General to San Francisco Zha Liyou paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Jim Wunderman, President of Bay Area Council (BAC), accompanied by Economic and Commercial Counselor Xia Xiang. Both sides had a friendly exchange of views on issues of improving "China Provinces and U.S. California Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation" mechanism, enhancing state-province relationship and helping leaders of local governments in the Bay Area with more opportunities to understand China.

Mr. Del Christensen, Chief of Global Business Development of BAC, Mr. John Grubb, Chief Operating Officer of BAC and Ms. Genevieve Herreria, California Manager of California-China Office of Trade and Investment attended the meeting.
