The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco has launched its official facebook page.

According to the page description, it "features information about China and promotes closer connections between the people of China and the United States."

"My colleagues and I hope to use this page to better interact with all segments of the American society and learn from you," Consul General Yuan Nansheng said in his welcoming statement.

Also, people may post questions on the page for China's visa and passport policies.
