On May 23, Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui met with James L. Connaughton, Chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality of the US White House and Director of the White House Office of Environmental Policy. Both sides exchanged opinions on the climate change topics including "climate and developing new partnership" and the dialogue among the leaders of G8 and
