On the afternoon of February 28, 2005, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing talked over phone with Ban Ki-moon, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Ban Ki-moon communicated what they have done to promote the resumption of six-party talks. Li Zhaoxing briefed on the meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization on supporting the re-launch of six-party talks. Both parties agreed to strengthen coordination and cooperation and make common efforts to promote the process of six-party talks.
