Li Zhaoxing Holds a Phone Conversation with Dr. Condoleezza Rice

On the evenig of April 29, 2004, Foreign minister Li Zhaoxing held a phone conversation with the US National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice. Rice noted that the US side would continue to adhere to the one-China policy demonstrated by President Bush. Both sides also exchanged views on such issues as expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and dealing with the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue within the framework of Beijing Six-Party talks.
