On March 16th, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Yi exchanged views with ROK Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Lee Soo-hyuck on issues concerning the six-party talks.

The two sides positively commented the progress of the Second Round of Six-Party Talks. They expected a working group could be set up as early as possible in line with the consensus reached during the talks in a bid to prepare for the next round of talks.

Wang Yi expressed his hope for the parties to set store by the positive signals of the Second Round of Six-Party Talks and adopt measures that may enhance mutual trust so as to push forward the peace-talk process.
