North American Chinese International Volleyball Competition opens in Las Vegas

On Aug 30th, Deputy Consul Song Ru'an attended the opening ceremony of North American Chinese International Volleyball Competition in Las Vegas, together with many local representatives including Senior Policy Advisor of Nevada, Susan K.Moore ,representatives of Las Vegas Mayor, Stravos Anthony, etc.

                                                    

With his congratulations, Deputy Consul Song praised the Oversea Chinese Sports Association in San Francisco for their hard work and excellent job in preparing for this competition. With 109 teams and about 2000 athletes participated in, the competition was no doubt had a large scale that even strode across North America. "As we celebrate the establishment of Sino-US diplomatic relationship," said Deputy Consul Song, "I wish the volleyball games can function as the same as 'ping-pang', playing an important role in promoting friendship between China and US."
