Consul General Gao Zhansheng Attended Activities Celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in Washington

On September 30, 2012, Consul General and Mrs. Gao Zhansheng attended the Flag Raising Ceremony and Reception celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in Chinatown, Seattle. About 600 guests, including Lt. Governor Brad Owen and overseas Chinese from all walks of life in Washington attended the activities.

Reflecting on China's remarkable achievements over the past 63 years, Consul General Gao spoke highly of the compatriotism of all the overseas Chinese in Washington, thanked them for their efforts and contributions to China's economic and social development as well as China-U.S. friendship, and extended greetings to them all.

Representatives of overseas Chinese present showed that they felt proud of China's achievements which drew world attention, and they will continue to contribute to China's development and China-U.S. friendship.

On September 29, Consul General and Mrs. Gao Zhansheng attended the Reception held by TriCities Chinese American Association (TCCAA), celebrating both China's National Day and Mid-Autumn Day with over 1,000 local overseas Chinese.
